Morning seminar: “Combat Spontaneity”

This comes from our Mastery RSB Seminar Series. The skill set presented in this seminar focuses on application. Rather than memorizing technique combinations, we will be utilizing especially designed drills creating trained reflexes with total adaptability. These are skills not commonly taught in most martial arts systems. Effective spontaneity is not random; it is the result of training, experience, commitments, and the polished skills of the warrior.

You will learn to master the art of effectively adapting to aggressive assault without conscious calculations, stress or panic. This training goes beyond memorized techniques and focuses on the skills used by masters of the martial arts.

Afternoon seminar: “Multiple Attacker Scenarios”

This seminar covers the concepts, guidelines and principles of dealing with more than one assailant simultaneously . This training will include strategies and tactics unique to our Martial Arts system. The drills to develop competency with these skills will include dealing with armed attackers and using what is in your environment to prevail. It will include scenarios that limit your maneuverability to emphasize correct application of the skills learned in this seminar.

You will develop the unique tactics and maneuvering skills to realistically survive and prevail in situations involving multiple assailants. Training includes dealing with armed attackers, limited maneuverability, and environmental challenges.

The Rapid Skill Building Seminars™ are designed for the novice as well as the advanced martial artist. Training will focus on developing highly effective skills through unique drills learned in these seminars. These skills are an adjunct to any style of martial art and will improve your effectiveness in combative situations.

The Institute

The Tang Wei Martial Arts Institute, Inc. and its affiliated instructors are the only source available to the general public for instruction in the little-known martial arts system known as Wu Ji Chyuan Fa.

While Wu Ji Chyuan Fa could properly be described as a style, and although it does include the development of a personal 'style' as part of what is taught, because of its thorough and methodical approach, Wu Ji Chyuan Fa is more properly described as a system of martial knowledge.

The first of what is commonly taught to the public in our many seminars is the style called Wu Ji Tao, which is a subset of the skills contained in the Wu Ji Chyuan Fa system, focused on Rapid Skill Building™ and accessibility—conceived of as a modularized approach to the system's knowledge.
